2023 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture

The Maybach Haute Voiture Concept, the first look at an ultra-luxurious S-Class that may compete with vehicles like the Rolls Royce Phantom or Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner, was unveiled by Mercedes on May 18, 2022.

On December 12, 2022, Mercedes-Maybach unveiled the new model during a gathering in Dubai. The vehicle was made public After a carefully prepared fashion exhibition by regional couture designer Atelier Zuhra. VIP guests, members of the media, and influencers were present.

It appears that the manufacturer just needed seven months to develop a production version.

With a limited edition of 150 units, the special edition reflects the brand's philosophy to occasionally release aspirational collectibles. Thus, Maybach cements its position as a leader in luxury and works to facilitate one-of-a-kind luxury experiences that exceed its customers' expectations.

Each vehicle will have a badge in the center console identifying its specific number within the limited run of 150, which was created by Mercedes-most Benz's skilled customization and craftsmanship team at the Manufaktur in Sindelfingen.

Under the hood, Since Mercedes said nothing about the car’s engine, we assume it will be powered by the same powertrain as the Maybach S680.

The S680 is powered by a twin-turbo, 6.0-liter V-12 engine that delivers a total of 621 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque.

All this power is sent to all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system. The model goes from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in just 4.5 seconds and up to a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

The exterior of the series car is distinguished by a distinctive two-tone paint finish, in keeping with the Concept Haute Voiture: a mix of metallic nautical blue on top, with a faint shimmering, rose tone in the bottom portion and nautical blue metallic rims.

Surround lighting with animated projection is now another highlight: The front and rear entry areas are tastefully illuminated by animated Mercedes-Benz or Mercedes-Maybach patterns that use LCD technology to light up when the doors are opened.

The interior showcases the most exquisite attention to detail, perfectly underlining its Haute Couture inspiration. The model is covered in a high-end, fashion-inspired bouclé fabric in colors of blue, beige, rose gold, and gold. The seat coverings and cushions also have additional delicate features.

Crystal white leather accents surround the occupants in the consoles, doors, and scatter cushions. Mohair and linen are used to make the floormats.

Along with the Haute Voiture logo on the door panel, rose gold champagne flutes are seamlessly integrated into the spacious rear with the display.

The MBUX infotainment system notices how luxuriously exclusive the interior is. The catwalk mood is emphasized by dazzling rose gold embellishments and glittering clouds. The motorist is greeted by a magnolia bloom and dazzling particles in the profile selection menu.

To complete the Maybach experience, the S-Class Haute Voiture will be accompanied by a hand-made gift box featuring its badge number, alongside a scaled model and key ring. In addition, Customers will also receive a unique vehicle cover bearing the Maybach and Haute Voiture logos.

Pricing has yet to be announced, but the variant will likely cost more than the $229,000 starting price of the Maybach S680. The Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture starts sales in early 2023.
